York Children's Foundation

Each day, hundreds of families across America help bring positive change to the lives of children in their communities through The York Children's Foundation. It all begins with your selection of a York Casket. San Diego Caskets is proud to offer York caskets and be part of this wonderful program.

At The York Children's Foundation, our sole purpose is to brighten the future of children in need. And with the support from families like yours, it's working.

How it works...

With every purchase of a York casket through San Diego Caskets, The York Distributors Association makes a donation to The York Children's Foundation in the name of your loved one. Each donation is matched by The York Group, which also provides all administrative costs for the foundation.

The York Children's Foundation then awards grants to non-profit organizations whose sole purpose is to support children. Local charities are nominated by Funeral Directors across the country and grants are issued by the Foundation's Board of Trustees.

The York Children's Foundation is funded by The York Group and its distributors. To date, the Foundation has given more than $1.8 million to primarily community-based, non-profit children's organizations nationwide. Below is a list of Foundation Recipients.
